I have recently discovered you guys from a friend who lives in DC. For the last 5 months, I have been bringing my lhasa apso, who is now 3 years old, for you to groom. In the past, he hasn't always been on his best behavior, and for a long time I was getting frustrated that most groomers won't do him due to his 'biting habits'. I have been going to local groomers for the care I thought he needed. I even tried out Pet Smart at a close by shopping center, and even to this day I have never encountered a business that: 1) Are very welcoming. Your staff was very friendly and thorough when taking directions for the care of my pet, along with discussing how you would go about the procedure of grooming him even though he might be ''difficult'' for the grooming. 2) You were very friendly with me and my dog. (I'm sure he loved the attention along with the rewarding of treats) But before turning him away, you said you'd at least try. 3) Your prices are very reasonable. You may be a buck or two more than other places, but I must say it's worth it! In conclusion, you have assured me that he would get better with his behavior on grooming. I now know how to care for my dog, using ''positive reinforcement''. Thank you for showing me how to use that tecnique. And! Though my dog had matts due to my neglegance, you have helped me to understand how to maintain the look of my dog so that now he can look like the precious pup that I've always wanted him to look like. Thanks again for being so kind and caring and helping me take care of my dog using your friendly training techniques! Keep up the good work!
